Lisa Holz, Social Studies Teacher
Lisa Holz teaches Social Studies at Village School. She received a BA in History and an MA in Adolescent Social Studies Education 7-12, both from Adelphi University; and an Advanced Degree in both Students with Disabilities from Adelphi University, and TESOL from Molloy College. Before coming to Great Neck Public Schools in 2017, Lisa taught in the New York City Department of Education for five years. Prior coming to Village School, Lisa was the Social Studies teacher at GNPS SEAL Program. Lisa loves to travel. The Sahara Desert, Italy, Iceland, and Normandy are among her favorite locations. She also enjoys playing beach volleyball and rooting for the NY Rangers and NY Yankees.
